Short answer: real company, unusually good lab documentation, almost no track record, and priced well above the market.
Ascend Science is one of the better-documented new vendors we have looked at. Their Certificate of Analysis programme is genuinely above average — better than several vendors we do recommend. What they do not have is operating history, an independent reputation, or competitive pricing.

First: Ascend Science is not Ascension Peptides
These are two different companies, and the confusion is widespread enough that it is worth clearing up before anything else.

Searches for one routinely return results for the other, and we regularly see visitors arriving on our Ascension Peptides review from queries about "Ascend". There are also several unrelated vendors trading as Ascend Amino, Ascend Peptides and Ascend Nutrition. Check the domain in your address bar before ordering.
One oddity worth recording, because it is publicly checkable: Ascend Science's XML sitemap and its schema.org markup both emit a local build path rather than a URL. All 54 entries read as a Windows directory path containing the folder name ascension-labs-new, followed by their own address. We make no claim about why the folder is named that. We note it because it is on every page of their site, and because it is also a real technical defect — a sitemap of invalid URLs cannot be processed by a search engine, which hurts their own indexing.
Is Ascend Science legit?
They are a real, operating storefront. The site is live, orders can be placed, the catalogue is substantial at 44 products, and the lab documentation is real — we opened their retatrutide certificate directly and it is a genuine multi-page ILS Laboratories report, not a graphic.
They carry no FDA warning letter. We checked the FDA's warning-letter database directly and there is no record under this name.
The caveats are about age and verifiability rather than anything we found wrong:
- The domain was registered in May 2025, making them roughly 15 months old.
- No legal entity name — no LLC or Inc — is published anywhere on the site, including the about and contact pages. Most established vendors name theirs.
- Registration is behind a privacy service, which is common but means the operator is not publicly identifiable.
- We could find no Trustpilot profile, no Reddit discussion, and no BBB record. For a vendor with a real catalogue this is unusual, and it means there is no independent customer feedback to weigh at all.
That last point cuts both ways. There is no pattern of complaints — but there is also nothing corroborating the picture except the company's own material.
Their testing is genuinely good
This is where they are strongest, and we would rather say so plainly than pretend a vendor we do not rank has no merits.
Their COA archive holds 73 reports across 36 products, issued per lot rather than one generic PDF per product, with previous batches retained. Two named laboratories issue them: ILS Laboratories of San Diego and Kovera Labs.
The retatrutide report we opened, lot AS-RT10-2, covers:
- HPLC purity — 99.89% against a >98% specification
- Identity confirmation
- Net peptide content — 10.26mg against a 10mg label
- Heavy metals by ICP-MS — arsenic, cadmium, lead, mercury, chromium, all passing
- Sterility by PCR
- Bacterial endotoxin
It is signed by a named lab director, states ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation, and carries an access code and a per-record verification URL on the issuing lab's own portal. Batch-level traceability of that kind is what our COA verification guide describes as the standard worth looking for, and most vendors do not meet it.
One thing we could not do: confirm that an access code actually resolves on the labs' verification portals. The codes and URLs are printed on the certificates, but we were unable to execute a lookup. So the verification system demonstrably exists on paper; we cannot report that we tested it end to end.
Their GLP-1 code names
Like most vendors in this category, Ascend Science sells GLP-1 compounds under coded SKUs rather than compound names:
