Simple Peptides Review: COAs, Lab Tests & Verdict

Simple Peptide publishes Freedom Diagnostics COAs, but Finnrick reports 28 of 47 lab tests passed. What we verified, what we couldn't, and alternatives.

Short answer: Simple Peptide is a real US vendor with published, lab-searchable COAs, but independent test results are uneven, with 28 passes in 47 classifiable samples on one public dataset as of October 2026.

Simple Peptide (often searched as "Simple Peptides") is a Florida-based research-peptide vendor that sells lyophilized vials, dissolvable strips and oral formats, and runs its lot testing through an outside lab, Freedom Diagnostics Testing. This review covers what the company states about itself, what its COAs do and don't show, what independent testing and community reports add, and where the vendors we track day to day fit in. Simple Peptide is not one of our partner vendors and we earn nothing from it.

Who Is Simple Peptide?

As of October 2026, Simple Peptide's site states that the company is owned and operated by Melex Technologies Inc., lists a business address on Yamato Road in Boca Raton, Florida, and publishes a US support phone number and email. Its About page describes a family-run company that "started small in 2019 and fully launched in 2023." Every page carries research-use-only labeling ("For laboratory research use only. Not for human or animal consumption"), and the FAQ states that the company provides no protocols, dosing or administration guidance.

Two other details stand out on the site. First, the company has launched a separate platform, Simple Life Science, which it describes as a home for bulk API supply, custom synthesis and searchable lot records, and it states plainly that Simple Peptide itself is not closing. Second, it runs a peptide merchant-services program with a payment processor, which requires participating merchants to source products from Simple Peptide as the processor's "approved U.S.-made manufacturing partner." That positions Simple Peptide as a supplier to other sellers as well as a retail storefront.

A sister brand, Simple Cosmetics Pro, sells peptide-based skincare and is promoted from the main site.

What They Sell

The storefront is organized by research category and format rather than by a single product type. As of October 2026 the categories include metabolic, growth-hormone-pathway, immunomodulating and mitochondrial research compounds; nootropic research compounds; amino acids and lipotropics; and lab supplies. The format range is the most distinctive part of the catalog: alongside standard lyophilized vials, the site sells "BioStrips" dissolvable strips and a line of oral peptides. Catalogs change frequently, so the vendor's own site is the only reliable source for what is currently in stock.

A research account is required to add items to the cart and check out. The site states it accepts major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express) and bank payment at checkout, and it offers a subscription option.

COA & Testing

Testing is the part of Simple Peptide's pitch with the most substance behind it, and the part where the picture is most mixed.

What the vendor states. According to its third-party testing page, every lot is tested by Freedom Diagnostics Testing in Franklin, Tennessee, which the company describes as an outside lab it does not own and is not affiliated with. Each COA carries a lab "search code" that can be entered on Freedom Diagnostics' own website to pull up the lab's copy, and each vial carries a lot number tied to its COA. The company states its incoming material target is 99.7% purity before lyophilization, with a finished-lot standard of 99% or better "where the molecule supports it." It also states that COAs issued from May 2026 onward add sterility, endotoxin and net peptide content to the purity and identity results; earlier certificates reflect the narrower panel in effect when they were issued.

What we saw on a sample COA. The archived Freedom Diagnostics certificate we viewed (a March 2025 report on a GHK-Cu skincare product) listed Simple Peptides as the client, showed an accession number and search code, and stated that analysis was performed by HPLC with UV detection coupled with mass spectrometry. It did not display an ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation number, and because it predates the May 2026 panel it carried no sterility or endotoxin result. That is typical of research-vendor COAs, but it is worth knowing when comparing certificates side by side.

What independent testing shows. Finnrick, an independent testing aggregator that rates vendors from submitted and purchased samples, listed 47 tests across 9 peptides for Simple Peptide as of October 8, 2026. Under its default purity-focused standard (purity of 99.5% or higher and dose within ±35%), 28 passed and 19 failed, giving an overall rating of 63%, ranked 390th of 481 vendors on that date. The per-peptide spread was wide:

Peptide (Finnrick, as of Oct 8, 2026) Rating Tests
GHK-Cu 84% 5
Tirzepatide 81% 8
Retatrutide 75% 15
Ipamorelin 68% 3
Semaglutide 64% 4
Melanotan II 53% 3
Tesamorelin 53% 2
BPC-157 48% 4
CJC-1295 25% 3

Finnrick's own summary described tirzepatide as the strongest record, with retatrutide and semaglutide "showing later improvement but earlier fill misses," while CJC-1295, BPC-157 and Melanotan II "repeatedly miss purity." It also noted that several results cluster by batch, which leaves the consistency of newer lots uncertain. The most recent tests it listed, from August to October 2026, were mostly passes.

Two caveats apply to reading these numbers. Many peptides have only two to five samples, which is too few to characterize a whole product line, and Finnrick's default bar of 99.5% purity is strict. The data is not a safety finding; it shows that results vary by compound and batch, which is a reason to check the specific lot COA rather than rely on a vendor-wide purity claim.

Shipping, Returns & Community Reports

As of October 2026, Simple Peptide's shipping policy states:

  • US addresses only — no international shipping.
  • Same-business-day dispatch by 2nd Day Air for orders placed before 2 PM Eastern, Monday to Friday; P.O. box orders ship by USPS.
  • Returns within 30 days of purchase for unopened, unused products, with the customer paying return shipping; opened products are reviewed case by case.
  • Order changes within 30 minutes of purchase, before fulfillment begins.

Community reports. Public customer feedback is thinner than for the larger vendors we cover. On RatingFacts, an independent review site not affiliated with the vendor, Simple Peptide averaged 4.87 out of 5 across 45 reviews as of October 2026. Reviewers there commonly describe fast shipping, easy ordering and responsive support; the criticisms raised concern price and, in one detailed review, the consistency of the COA documentation received. When we checked Trustpilot in October 2026, its page for simplepeptide.com displayed a notice that the profile had been removed for not meeting Trustpilot's guidelines, so no Trustpilot score was available. Reddit threads about the vendor exist, but we were unable to review them for this article, so we report no Reddit sentiment here.

The Vendors We Track and Recommend

Simple Peptide is not one of the vendors we track and recommend, and we have no affiliate relationship with it. The vendors below are the ones we keep current on pricing, stock and COA status, and where we hold verified discount codes, ranked by our overall recommendation:

How Different Buyers Weigh Simple Peptide

Buyers who prioritize format variety commonly look at Simple Peptide for its dissolvable strips and oral lines alongside standard vials. Buyers who prioritize documentation tend to value that its COAs can be looked up on the testing lab's own site, a stronger verification path than a PDF hosted only by the vendor. Buyers who prioritize lot-to-lot consistency tend to weigh the independent test record more heavily, and that record, as of October 2026, is uneven across compounds.

A commonly cited check for any vendor, Simple Peptide included, is whether the batch-specific COA for the exact lot can be retrieved and matched to the vial before purchase. Our guide to how to verify a peptide COA walks through what to look for.
