Thymosin Beta-4 is a naturally occurring 43-amino-acid peptide present in nearly all human cells. It plays a central role in cell migration, wound healing, and tissue repair through its interaction with G-actin — the building block of the cellular cytoskeleton. TB-500 is a synthetic fragment of the active region of TB-4.
